Understand Active and Viewer Licenses
Sales Coach Pro has two license types: Active and Viewer. A Member’s license determines whether they use a paid license. Their organization access determines what they can manage.
Active licenses
Section titled “Active licenses”Choose an Active license for anyone who will use Sales Coach Pro to practice, receive coaching feedback, analyze their conversations, or complete assigned training.
Examples include:
- Sales representatives completing role plays
- Customer service employees practicing conversations
- New hires working through Learning Paths
- Managers who want to complete training themselves
Each person with an Active license uses one paid license from your organization’s license capacity.
Viewer licenses
Section titled “Viewer licenses”Choose a Viewer license for anyone who needs to monitor, manage, or review activity but does not need to use active coaching features themselves.
Examples include:
- Managers
- Sales coaches
- Trainers
- Operations leaders
- Business owners
Viewer licenses are currently free.
Example
Section titled “Example”An organization has:
- Two sales representatives
- One customer service representative
- One operations manager
- One owner
The sales representatives and customer service representative are completing training. The operations manager and owner only need to review progress.
The organization would use:
- 3 Active licenses
- 2 Viewer licenses
It would need three paid licenses.
License and organization access are separate
Section titled “License and organization access are separate”Admin and Member describe organization access. They are separate from Active and Viewer licenses.
A person can be:
- Organization Admin + Active license
- Organization Admin + Viewer license
- Member + Active license
- Member + Viewer license
For example, an operations manager could be an Organization Admin + Viewer. They can manage the organization and review progress without using a paid Active license.
Which license should I choose?
Section titled “Which license should I choose?”Choose Active if the person will practice, complete training, receive coaching feedback, or analyze their own conversations in Sales Coach Pro.
Choose Viewer if the person only needs to manage the organization, coach Members, or review progress.
